Job: Senior Account Manager- Swansea

About the Position

VES is an established provider of temporary staff to schools across South Wales. Founded in 2009, VES have quickly become the go to agency for schools across Wales looking to fill their vacancies with experienced and inspiring supply teachers and support staff. VES’ success has led it to establish three offices in Merthyr Tydfil, Llantrisant and Swansea.

Due to further expansion VES is looking to appoint a target driven and committed Senior Account Manager to lead their Swansea team during this exciting period of growth for the business. Previous recruitment experience is essential for this position as the company are looking to appoint someone who can 'hit the ground running'.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify new customers (schools) and arranging appointments.
  • Contacting existing clients in order to maintain, protect and grow current revenues and develop future business enabling all personal sales and targets
  • Ensuring you are having fact finding conversations to explore all sales opportunities whilst on the phone and selling appropriately to customer needs
  • Effectively administrate all bookings •Working to tight deadlines and targets set.
  • Organise and attend meetings with schools (5 per week) •Ensuring quality staff are placed with schools
  • Carry out analysis and provide reports to Branch Manager / Director
  • Sourcing and registering candidates whilst adhering to a strict compliance process in order to increase the candidate database.
  • Participate with the out of hours line on a rota’d basis and be responsible for fulfilling customer needs during this time.
  • Build strong working relationships with candidates in order to gain loyalty
  • Be proactive with business leads and ensure that these are always followed up
  • Lead other Account Managers within the team and promote a team work culture
  • Analyse profit for the branch and feedback to Branch Manager / Director on a weekly basis
  • Ensure targets are met within the team

Applicants Require

Experience Required:

  • Must demonstrate strong experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Must have a very strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must have strong customer service skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Packages (word, excel, publisher etc)
  • Background / Qualification in recruitment (Education Recruitment is desirable)

  • Must have a current driving licence

*This position is full time 37.5 hours per week with reduced hours in school holidays.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £23,000.00 to £26,000.00 /year
