All VES candidates are required to complete our Safeguarding course and are advised to complete Prevent training. A variety of courses are run during school holidays for candidates to continue their professional development.
How to access your Safeguarding e-learning
A welcome e-mail will be sent to you from Low cost E-learning. This e-mail will contain your password and the link to LowCost e-learning portal.
When you click the link to the portal you will be brought to the main login page, please enter your email address and the password you have been provided and click ‘login’
If you have not received this e-mail, please check your Junk or Spam mail filters. If you are still unable to locate the e-mail and are having continued problems, please e-mail email@example.com
Please note that there are two parts to the Safeguarding course – an e-learning module and a knowledge test. Please ensure that you have completed both parts of the course. This will then generate a percentage pass rate, which VES will be able to access. The completion of this course is mandatory in order to work in schools on behalf of VES.
Prevent Training Course
All candidates should be aware of their obligations regarding the prevention of extremism in education. The home office has developed a free training course on the prevent duty called WRAP. VES recommends that all candidates undertake this course for their own education and CPD.
